We didn’t have a ‘proper’ dinner, but I’d bought some Piegata from Sainsbury, which is (and I quote): “We ferment the dough for our Piegata for 24 hours to bring out the natural flavour and aroma. It’s then gently folded by hand and baked on volcanic stones for a light, fluffy texture.” It’s a sort of cross between a pitta bread and a bruschetta. Anyway, all I did was warm them up a bit in the oven, added mixed cheeses, put them back in the oven for 10 minutes, and did a green side salad. Nice.
